FOR ORGANIZATIONS WITH KNOWLEDGE TO SHARE

Years of useful work.
Give people a way in.

Your resources should be easier to explore than a list of links or a folder someone has to email. Build a library that makes the depth of your work visible.

Tell Aaron about your project

Relevant experience: 1,400+ articles organized at CalvaryChapel.com and a 1,907-post migration for Jesus Famous.

Work directly with Aaron from the first decisions through launch and handoff.

RESOURCE LIBRARIES & KNOWLEDGE HUBS

Make the useful thing easier to find.

Helmsman builds searchable resource libraries for nonprofits, associations, publishers and businesses. Articles, reports, videos, webinars and downloads can share a clear structure, so visitors can explore by topic and staff can keep publishing without inventing a new process each time.

A structure that matches the collection

Define content types and the fields that matter: topic, author, date, format or audience. Use a sample of the actual collection to decide which filters help and which create extra maintenance.

Useful routes into the material

Search, topic pages, filters and related resources give people different ways to find what they need. The right combination depends on the size and condition of the collection and the people using it.

A repeatable publishing workflow

Give editors templates, required fields and clear ownership. Where supported, feeds can bring new media into the library with the appropriate review steps.

BUILT FROM REAL ARCHIVE WORK

Thousands of posts.
A usable way in.

At CalvaryChapel.com, Aaron led a rebuild that organized more than 1,400 articles around subjects and authors. For Jesus Famous, the project inventory included 1,907 posts and 62 pages moved from Squarespace into a structured WordPress platform.

The Jesus Famous platform brought articles, teaching, books and media into connected libraries, with new podcast episodes and videos flowing into the site automatically.

Both projects served ministry audiences. The collection design, migration and publishing work is relevant to other organizations whose knowledge has become hard to find.

BEFORE WE BUILD

A library your team can keep useful.

Do we need to move the whole website?

Not necessarily. A resource library may fit within an existing site, or it may be part of a larger rebuild. We establish the CMS constraints, source access and publishing requirements before recommending an approach.

What if our content is inconsistent?

Missing files, duplicate records and inconsistent tags need defined treatment. Content cleanup, manual review and migration exceptions receive agreed allowances and responsibilities.

Can some resources be members-only?

Access-controlled collections require additional planning for accounts, permissions and the membership platform. Those requirements are assessed and scoped separately from a public resource library.

Will this help search engines find the content?

We plan for crawlable resource pages, useful titles, internal links and redirects where needed. Search visibility depends on indexing and other factors; a library rebuild does not guarantee rankings.

LET’S FIND THE RIGHT NEXT STEP

Tell Aaron what belongs in your library.

Share the kinds of resources you have, roughly how many, where they live and who needs to find them. A few public examples are helpful. Please leave private records out of the inquiry.

If there is a fit, we’ll arrange a free introductory conversation. Any tailored assessment or project work is scoped and priced before you commit.
